Lymm Historic Transport Day
June 25 @ 11:00 - 17:00
AACNW Members: Contact Bert Kendall on 07773886235 to book a place on the club stand. Limited spaces so first come first served.
Lymm Historic Transport Day is one of Cheshire’s best loved events, attracting thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. We show everything from classic cars to military vehicles, vintage bicycles to Harley Davidsons, steam traction engines to horse drawn carriages. Alongside these exhibits we have dozens of stalls selling all manner of food, clothing, toys and local produce etc. We have live music, rides, a climbing wall, model railways and lots and lots of lego! In short, there’s something for everyone.
The event opens at 11am and runs until 5pm on the 25th June 2023. Our main hub is Lymm’s May Queen Field but we also have supplementary locations at Maple Lodge, the Village Hall, Henry Street Car Park and the canal – which comes alive with old working boats for the weekend.
If you’re a vendor of any kind and would like to apply for a plot on our field then please find the appropriate form on our ‘Apply Here’ page (available from midday on the 3rd January). Be aware that you’ll need to submit the relevant documentation along with your application. We’re accepting applications through to the end of March, and try to respond to all applications within 6 weeks of submission. We do fill up quickly so please get your applications in early. Contact email addresses can be found on the relevant application forms.
As this is a busy, family event, health and safety is very important to us and all stall holders will need to provide a complete risk assessment and full insurance documentation, including Public Liability Insurance. In addition, food vendors will need to provide a 5-Star Food Hygiene rating along with a recent Food Hygiene Inspection report, appropriate food hygiene management systems such as temperature controls etc, appropriate allergen risk management, confirmation of registration as a food retailer and the ability to provide hot and cold water on the day.
We really look forward to welcoming you to the event!
*Please note that we are now fully booked for vehicles. We received several hundred applications within the first week of opening and we anticipate having a very full field. If you’ve got a vehicle you’d like to display, then you can join our waiting list by contacting us through the Contact page. For those who have already applied, we’ll endeavour to respond to each application within the next few weeks. Thank you!
