ok here we go !!! a pub landlord has contacted me ( who owns a vette ) and would like to host a bit of meet at his new pub, he has agreed to put on cheap food for everybody, there is ample parking, he has a wurlitzer jukebox which he will put on free play with a host of rock and roll, country, rockabilly and so on he has even agreed to put up three trophys for the best three cars ( of his choice )........here is the link for his pub on the net ( http://members.lycos.co.uk/redliongoostrey/index.htm ) as you can see theres is plent to do and good for kids aswell, the landlord is also putting on a bouncy castle for the kids

i am thinking of september the 13 th meet up about 12 ish

so can you give me an idea if you can attend just by replying to this thread,

come on it will be a great get together at a good country pub.

Sorry Martin, already booked at Steel City weekend. There are five shows on that weekend. Dare I suggest the 20th would be a better date? looks like the UK autumn nats has disappeared from the list of events for that w/end, I can`t see any news of it anyway. Only competition that I know of would be Leyland Transport museum and we`ve already been there three times this season. Just a thought.

I`m afraid that I don`t get on the website very often, I keep up to date with the mag and in July Autumn Nats are listed as Stamford Hall tbc. There isn`t any mention of the nats in August C/American as far as I can see. Hence my comment. Not to worry tho` I was only suggesting 20th as an option if the Autumn Nats had indeed been moved for some reason. In hindsight I could have mailed Richard for an update before commenting. thumbup

Speaking of speaking, Hatton Country World? Is that just off the A50 somewhere near Burton?
